We are done! The paint is on the walls, that's the latest update.

I am sitting at the airport waiting to travel to Illinois for 2 days. I wanted to add a few more shots of the main floor since we decorated.

This was from August 20th - first day of demo. This still shows the wall between the pantry and bathroom.
Then there was another wall removed on the far side.
These are 2 photos that were from the old kitchen. I might be able to find some better shots to show the magnitude of what we did. Some of the older posts show the first few phases of the demo.
No more 50's linoleum
No more broken cabinets
All that is left, is the paint. We have picked the colors and now we just need to find the time.
These 3 photos were from yesterday. The boys were outside playing - it was a pretty nice day in Omaha.
We let Zach pick the Christmas tree this year. They cut it down and then we raced the guy back to the main office.

Zach was the Hulk for Halloween. These pics are from the great Dundee march around the neighborhood. Everyone comes out on their porches and watches the whole school parade. Zach's teacher, Ms. Haddix, is the grocery sack in the background.
Some of you have been asking what we decided on for tile in the bathroom. Here ya go! The floor is set at 75 degrees right now - love the heated floor, probably our best decision.
We are in the final stages of our kitchen remodel. Here are some of the latest updates. All that is left now is the backsplash and the plumbing. then it will get a thorough cleaning and BAM! we will be cookin!
Max got a few touch ups on the wild mop! We didn't take much off, just needed to clean up where Zach cut a chunk off.

My little artists'. It has really morfed into people and stuff since kindergarten. It used to be just big teethed stuff - yah know...monsters. Now is has taken a Dundee artistic direction. Max...lines of color. Very artistic!!
Anybody remember the old little chill area? Gone....
2 Pumpkin patches already by October 4th. Pretty sweet! We love Fall!
These are some of the pictures from Pooley's Pumpkin farm. They had chickalees.....
That is what Zach calls the baby chicks. They love them little chickens.
This is the first day of the cabinets going in. It is really starting to take shape.
This is the first hayrack ride for the season. I hope it isn't our last! This is at the Bellevue Berry Farm. They have a long ride through the haunted forest to get to the pumpkins. We picked 2 - Zach and Max's.
Great day! I'm sure as it gets closer to Halloween the days will not be as nice as this one was - 80 degrees.
Here they are folks! Finished and in. We have chosen the granite and hopefully will have updates within 2 weeks. We'll see...

Dry wall is in and they have mudded. Look a window is in the bathroom. Getting closer.
Wishful thinking.
Wishing I was back at St Pete Beach right about now. No kitchen, patience running thin.....
This is the new bathroom framed in with a spot for the window.
And here is the shot all the way thru.
Cathy was looking hot for a night out on the town so she wanted to jump in the shot too.
I added another cute one of Zach for good measure.
It looks as if he is up to something. But really, I asked if I could take his picture and he did several cute faces for the camera.
Zach has made many friends at Dundee Elementary. He is in Kindergarten going from 8:45 to 3:45. It has made for some tired afternoons, but now he goes to bed a little earlier than before. Now it makes it easier with the sun setting sooner.

Here are 2 pictures of our kitchen, or what's left of it. That wall in the back that is still standing will be enduring the same fate of it's smaller neighbor. We will hopefully be finished before Thanksgiving.....at least that is the plan!
